Code of Conduct, Professional Standards, Confidentiality & Legal Obligations
This Staff Agreement establishes the standards, responsibilities, and expectations required of all individuals working with, representing, or contributing to Valence Health.
1. Purpose & Scope
This agreement exists to maintain a professional, respectful, and safe working environment; protect confidential information and organisational assets; ensure ethical conduct and safeguarding standards; clarify rights, responsibilities, and expectations; and preserve the integrity and reputation of Valence Health.
2. Core Values & Professional Standards
All staff must uphold: Integrity and honesty, Respect and inclusivity, Professionalism and accountability, Responsibility and reliability, Safety and safeguarding. Staff must act in a manner that reflects positively on Valence at all times.
3. Professional Conduct
Communicate respectfully and professionally at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or hostile behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Maintain confidentiality of all internal operations, member data, and unreleased content.
4. Confidentiality & Data Protection
All internal information, including operational procedures, personnel records, and strategic plans, is confidential. You must not share, distribute, or use this information outside of your authorised role. This obligation continues after your involvement with Valence ends.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, systems, designs, and materials created during your role at Valence remain the property of Valence. You may not reproduce or distribute these materials without explicit written permission.
6. Safeguarding & Child Safety
Valence operates with a zero-tolerance approach to any behaviour that could endanger minors. All staff are obligated to report any safeguarding concerns immediately to leadership.
7. Social Media & Public Conduct
You must not represent Valence in an unofficial capacity on public platforms. Any public statements that could affect the reputation of Valence must be approved in advance.
8. Equality & Non-Discrimination
Valence is committed to equal treatment for all individuals regardless of age, background, identity, or beliefs. Discrimination of any kind will result in immediate disciplinary action.
9. Disciplinary Actions
Failure to comply may result in verbal or written warning, suspension of duties, removal from responsibilities, or immediate termination. Severe violations result in permanent restriction from future roles.
10. Acknowledgement & Acceptance
By signing below, you confirm that you have read and understood this agreement, agree to comply with all policies and standards, understand the consequences of violations, and commit to upholding the integrity and safety of Valence Health.
